@solsolitary For the disposable cups (the Instead brand) you can get pack of 6, 8, and ten for abotu the same price as a box of tampons. But for the habitual re-usable cups, there is only one in the package, and they can cost somewhere from 25 to 45 dollars. That’s because they last for many years, and are made of expensive material.

  2. solsolitary says:

how much come in a box?

  3. MenstrualCupInfo says:

@pinkskies21 There is a touch I like abotu all of them. But if I could only pick one, I would say Lunette. It just suits my body and needs.

  4. pinkskies21 says:

wow this is really informative. which one is your personal favorite?

  5. MenstrualCupInfo says:

@flacalok In public restrooms it usually simpler to keep bottled water in your purse to rinse, so you don’t have to deal with paper and all.

  6. flacalok says:

And also, You don’t feel ANYTHING once is inside of you!!! It’s incredible, sometimes I even forget I’m on my period… jeje

I have been using DivaCup for 6 days now and it was my first time. I don’t have children, I’m a gray bleeder and I practice martial arts and this week has been my best week every, during my period.
To be trustworthy with you my first time hurt a lot. And still is a small bit uncomfortable but I reckon is just while I get use to it. I can take it off quicker now but I recommend you to try it first in the commodity of your house. I did it on a public bathroom and it was very frustrating.

  9. MenstrualCupInfo says:

@MlleButterfly make sure you insert back toward your rectum. Never up. Try a punch-down fold too sometimes its simpler to get in.

  10. MlleButterfly says:

I have a Diva Cup but, i haven’t been unable to insert it. I didn’t know there were so many brands.

  11. MenstrualCupInfo says:

Large Ladycup is, and even large lunette is shorter than Diva, but holds more. Also, small yuuki and small lunette hold decent amounts, but are still honestly small.

  12. MenstrualCupInfo says:

19 with a habitual flow can use pretty much any small, really. But the really committed girls tend to prefer the slightly shorter ones, it depends where you live. UK mooncup only goes to addresses outside the US. But the toehrs I reckon can frequently all be sent here. You can try a small Yuuki, or small Lunette, or even a large ladycup, the small might not hold enough liquid. Lage Lady is a bit wider though…

  13. Randamaye says:

I really want to try one of these cups, but there are so many brands. Which one would you recommend a nineteen year ancient, who doesn’t have children? I’m not a very gray bleeder, but I go around a lot and play field hockey.

Also, are they hard to insert and do you feel them a lot while wearing them?

  14. itsme123445 says:

What cups do you suggest that are shorter and wider?

  15. MenstrualCupInfo says:

It sounds to me like yoru cervix might be low, and in that case, it can take up room in your cup, and lessen its capacity. This is fixable only with a fleeting-but-wider cup, because it offers mroe capacity without being too long, or by emptying it more frequently.

  16. MenstrualCupInfo says:

I like small Lunette and miacup a lot, but I want to get a small Lunette that I can use evenly. The one I have, I need to keep it looking nice for photos, videos, etc. But I’m working on getting one for fixed use.

  17. bvlgaridiamonds says:

out of all the cups which do you like the most? i have tried the instead and i feel they are a bit uncomfortable

  18. itsme123445 says:

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking.. just empty it more frequently. But wanted MenstrualCupInfo’s input on it since they seem to have a lot more knowledge on these bits and pieces then the majority of the rest of us. Thanks for the input though.

    Dump it out?

  20. itsme123445 says:

Hi. I really like your videos. I have been using a menstrual cup for nearly a year now, and I am having issues with losing suction when the cup (no topic what cup) is about half way full. Then I get leakage. Is there a way to fix this? I have a stiffer cup now, and it still happens. At the beginning the suction is fantastic, and its sealed… its just when the cup is half full the leakage starts. Any tips?

  21. MenstrualCupInfo says:

Thank you, I reckon the colored cups are pretty too! Makes them mroe cute rather than a sanitary item.

  22. Faby23 says:

I have a mooncup, which I have used for two periods and I have just got myself a small ball stem meluna (in purple!) and a small Violet Fleurcup…they’re so pretty! I can’t wait to try both! :) I like your vids Melissa!

  23. MenstrualCupInfo says:

It also depends on yoru flow, because if you have a gray flow, a small one is not going to work for you, it will constantly be running out of space. That’s why even some teenagers will use a large, because they may need more capacity for their gray flow. I’ve also met mothers of 3 who use a small, we are all very different. But if you reckon you are very small, and your flow is very light, you can try a small first.

  24. idorianch says:

    you dont “start” from smaller to larger, you have your size which depends on your age and if you have given birth, if you re young and have not given birth then the small one is for you, even with a c section;
if you are like over 30 and you gave birth trough you vagina then you need the huge one.
other thin is that if you body is huge or pettite.

  25. MenstrualCupInfo says:

@nailsbyyou — between small ladycup and small meluna, they both have different excellent points, and different terrible points. Meluna– they are really small and you can barely feel them. But because of their strength and shape, they can be hard to grab in removal. Ladycup, they are nice and soft, simpler to reach. But they are kinda slippery to keep a grip on. If you’re willing to get one slightly larger, I would say small lunette, it tends to have the fewest complaints, and its not that huge.
