Advanced Article Marketing

Friday, October 22nd, 2010

Advanced article marketing is not a new concept. Advanced article marketing has been know in super affiliate circles for a long time.   This form of marketing is the most common form of article marketing utilized today within the internet marketing field.  Search engines would rather index 10 feature articles than 50, “spun”, similar  articles with nearly the same content. The difference with advanced article marketing as compared to basic article-marketing is that the advanced method focuses more on “feature” rather than “quantity”. You still utilize links but more higher feature of links.  These links will get indexed and drive more feature traffic to your website.    These higher feature articles with unique content  will be simpler to get listed in article directories.  Once they are listed with high PR ranking directories they will really get attention.  Many of the unique content articles will be featured or voted/reviewed  and placed where there is huge exposure. A spun article with very similar content and not unique content  may get listed, but it will be buried and never get the views and clicks a feature article will.  In this scenario one excellent feature article can get 100 times the views and clicks as 10 similar content articles.     I have see 40 feature articles in a  standard  niche  get 144,000 views.  Those articles will take up again to drive traffic for years to come.  Now that is how you drive traffic. Why do article marketers not approve of advanced article marketing strategies? Many article marketers do not approve of this marketing approach. The reasons for the disapprovals is primarily because it entails far too much work up front or they can’t realize the importance of ten feature articles over per say 50 non-feature articles. Most article marketers who perform this method correctly rarely go back to basic article-marketing. Feature versus quantity When you utilize the method of advanced article-marketing, you must know that there is value in the exclusive article which you write. Believe it or not, you do not want to be found all over the internet with the same in print content as well as the same links. When you utilize basic article marketing techniques, you are not truly contributing to the niche beyond the first article you have written and in print. Seasoned readers do make their way around the internet and if they view the same material continuously, they start to view it as clutter and the search engines will not approve of such material. Building authority with your feature content You want to build authority with your advanced marketing campaign. It is not about the number of websites your articles will be viewed upon, it is about which websites pick up your content. You need to pick a niche while publishing articles within that particular niche. You want to bring in more sales by publishing fewer articles on high traffic websites. Feature articles are recognized and loved by internet search engines.   Remember to reckon feature not quantity.  Article submitters, and there are a lot of them,  can be used to get your feature articles posted.   You need to use one because submitting your articles manually is a time consuming task.   Automate that process because your time is better spent writing and researching your articles.    Try using the advanced article marketing method on your next 10 articles.  Footstep your results and I reckon you will be pleased with the results. Make Money Online With Twitter – Advanced Tweeting Techniques

Tuesday, May 18th, 2010

I’m assuming here that you’re familiar with the basics of twitter. If you haven’t by now got started and want to know how to optimize your twitter account for Internet Marketing, read my article entitled ” Making Cash Online with Twitter – The Wise Person’s Start Up Guide”.

Tweeting (sending out updates)

If your tweets invite responses, people will be more likely to answer! Just as you would at a party, question questions and try to appear more interested in the other person than you are in yourself. Find out about them and look for ways to help them.

Appealing tweets evenly include links to other things available on the net: articles, pictures, videos, websites, blogs… Use these kinds of tweets in addition to your sensible advice to establish your reputation as an expert in your field – the kind of person who can help others.

When you read a really appealing peep that you want to share with others, you should retweet it. People like having their material retweeted; it’s flattering.

If you don’t see anything to retweet and can’t reckon of anything yourself, use sites such as “material to peep” or digg, where you are bound to find a touch appealing, but (unless it’s really brilliant) try to keep it relevant!

Don’t use tweets to plug your own material more than once in a while, or people will feel you’re too pushy. When you do promote your own site, be subtle, but make sure you mention some kind of must-have free place forward – perhaps a pdf report. Ideally this free gift or report holds the answer to a name’s problem, so you have a legitimate reason for suggesting they check it out.

Getting into discussions

This is the vital part: use “search twitter” to listen in on other people’s conversations. Type in a keyword that’s vital to your business and find out who is discussing it by now.

If you use the advanced search facility you can specify strings of words, and maybe a question mark as well – so you can find who is asking a question about your area of expertise. Results come up not just of people (somewhere in the world) who are asking right now, but also an hour ago or last night or a week ago.

Remembering that you’re helpfully offering expertise (and not trying to puff yourself up or hard-sell your product), you can join in these conversations and suggest solutions to the problems that people are discussing.

At the same time, other wise twitter users will be doing the same thing and searching for what you’re discussing. They may well choose to follow you, or send you a direct message asking for your opinion.

Links

Needless to say, your site and your blog will invite people to join you on twitter, and your twitter profile (and many of your direct messages) (each of which is a URL in its own right) will link to your other material. This is all excellent for Search Engine Optimization.

Use what you learn

You will inevitably gain valuable insights from listening in on conversations and finding out what people are tweeting about. These insights will help you add focus to your business and they will provide you with material for new tweets, blogs and articles!

Advanced Hosting Options – SSL Accelerators and Traceroute Explained

Sunday, January 24th, 2010

SSL AcceleratorsOne of the most common complaints about running an secure website is that it is unbelievably slow. If you only have a small area, such as your online store on a secure server, this is not as vital. But, if you want to place forward a large, secure member area, or secure your entire site, this can quickly make problems.Instead of settling for a slow site, and getting inundated with complaints from your visitors, there is a very simple solution. An SSL accelerator is a PCI card that is installed frankly on your server. If you have ever upgraded your desktop computer, you should be familiar with this concept. A small card is inserted in the server to dramatically increase performance. Many hosts are now offering this option with their hosting plans. If you need to secure a large area of your site, make sure that your host employs the use of SSL accelerators. You will notice a huge difference in speed for your site, and it can help prevent data bottlenecks.TracerouteWebmasters that are familiar with networking will feel right at home with Traceroute. Many hosting companies are now offering the ability to use traceroute right on your server. This application is useful for a number of reasons.A traceroute will perform a check on how many gateways you go through previous to you really reach your site. In the case of a reseller hosting company, this number may be reasonably large. If you have noticed that it takes a long time for your site to load, try doing a traceroute to see just how many gateways there are between you and your site. Many times, when you reckon your site is down, it may really be the gateway that is not functioning properly. If you have contacted your host about a site problem only to have them say it works fine for them, this is usually the produce. While it is frustrating, there is usually nothing you can do until the gateway comes back up.In addition to finding out about gateways, you can use traceroute to footstep down hackers and the originators of DDOS attacks. If you have a dedicated server, this is a very nice option. DDOS attacks are becoming more prevalent and it is helpful to have a way to find out who is responsible.Even if most webmasters will not need to use traceroute, it is still fun to see how you are getting to your site, and is also useful if you have certain visitors that are having problems loading your site.Thrash for Japan Hosting – JPstream Internet Air force in Japanhttp://www.jpstream.net
