Google Adsense Contextual Advertising
Thursday, September 2nd, 2010Paid Search Advertising: the Best Insurance Policy for SEO
Saturday, August 7th, 2010SEO (that’s Search Engine Optimization) seems to have started 2008 on the incorrect foot. A lot of clients are telling mus that they have experimented with it in the past, saying they hired a name who promised top rankings in Google but never came through. Jeremy Schoemaker even compares SEO’s to slimy car salesmen.
Make no mistake–any guarantee from an SEO is a red flag. There simply is no way to guarantee results, and anyone who does so should be dealt with cautiously. To know why, let’s have a look at the business strategy behind search engines. (As permanently, Google serves as the best example, since it holds about two-thirds of the search engine market.)
Google, Inc. pulled in nearly $17 billion in revenues in 2007. Where does the bulk of this cash come from? Despite a wide array of all-stars in Google’s product line, only one program really runs the show: AdWords.
The reason AdWords is such a strong product, constantly growing its base and reshaping the entire global advertising industry, is that it provides targeting opportunities that were previously impossible. And Google is such a excellent search engine that the volumes of users make unheard-of economies of scale.
For as far as the eye can see, Google and the SEO community will be locked in a battle to outdo each other. Why? Because any compromise in the ability to target audiences threatens Google’s ability to keep making cash. Its engineers continuously refine the algorithms that match keywords with web content. Yet despite the well-guarded secret recipe behind these algorithms, thanks to effectual communication and tireless trial-and-error, SEO’s ultimately uncover these secrets and sell their intelligence to the business community.
When you place it that way, SEO sounds a bit criminal, doesn’t it? But a lot of SEO’s (the “white hat” variety) are simply in the business of getting their clients to the top of the search rankings for their niche or area of expertise. This might be deemed a responsible use of SEO.
The problem is, not all SEO’s (and their clients) are this modest. So much like the one kid who acted out in grade school, because of these rogues, we all have to be punished.
Google wants its algorithms to choose who is #1. SEOs want to wiggle through the algorithms and force their clients into #1. The larger guns tend to prevail, which is why SEO’s will nearly permanently fall fleeting of their guarantees.
Now for the irony: if these clients want a sustainable stream of new business from the internet, pay-per-click (PPC) advertising programs like Google AdWords are usually the best way to go. And targeted search results are the bedrock of an optimized campaign.
The moral of the tale? It pays to invest in SEO and PPC concurrently, for a few reasons:
1. You’ll maximize exposure in both the sponsored and organic Google results.
2. You’ll be protected against the inevitable and frequent search engine algorithm changes.
3. You’ll inspire confidence in prospective customers who see that you haven’t just paid your way to the top.
Google tends to know a bit more about search engines than a syndicate of mere mortals. If we play by their rules, the pie will be larger for everyone.
How Can CPA Advertising Help Your Business?
Thursday, August 5th, 2010Online advertising has become a very standard way for both small and large businesses to promote their goods and air force. Advertising your business online can help you reach large numbers of potential customers and is usually an effectual way for you to increase your sales.
One type of online advertising is Cost Per Action, or CPA advertising. This is also sometimes referred to as Pay Per Action, or PPA, advertising. Your business’s cost for this method of advertising is single-minded by how many times Web site visitors follow through with a particular action. In other words, your advertising cost is frankly related to activities your advertisement viewers complete.
You are the one that will determine the events that lead to your advertising expenditure. Depending on your type of business, a required action could be designated as submitting a form for product or service information, registration with your Web site, or purchasing a product or service from your business. You can choose one or more events that will be the basis for your advertising expenditure. The various events carry different advertising charges. You can exchange the required events to accommodate your advertising needs and budget.
Cost Per Action advertising is the preferred method of online advertising for many businesses. You will only be charged for advertising when Web site visitors click on your online ad, connect to your Web site, and then perform a specific action that indicates they are interested in your product or service. Many times, potential customers will click on an appealing ad, review the business’s Web site, and then choose they are not really interested in what the business has to place forward.
With Cost Per Action advertising, you can have an unlimited number of people connect to your Web site through your online ad, but you will only pay advertising expenditure for the number of people that really follow through with a desired action, such as placing an order for goods or air force.
A further advantage of Cost Per Action advertising is that you will be directed to potential customers that have a genuine interest in your specific product or service.
Most Web site visitors will not take the time to fill out a registration or information question for form unless they reckon it will be to their advantage to do so. Visitors who honestly feel your business can benefit them in some way will fill out your Web site forms, and you will be able to gather a excellent collection of potential customer names.
You will be able to focus your attention on these visitors, without wasting your time, effort and cash on visitors that viewed your site but are not sincerely interested in what your business offers.
Cost Per Action advertising is a bit more costly than other types of online advertising, but it may be simpler on your advertising budget in the long run. You will only be paying charges according to the number of visitors that really complete specific events instead of according to the total number of visitors that view your advertisement.
It may or may not work for you based on what you’re advertising but it’s certainly worth researching it more.
Double Pay Per Click Internet Advertising Profits Through Adwords Conversion
Saturday, July 24th, 2010Putting time and energy into a marketing campaign with the hope of feat can be a problem each long time you release a new product, service, or affiliate marketing project. If you own taken time to find how you researched as the best expected keywords to develop an AdWords campaign you also seek some way to determine how numerous people have been clicking on your initial ad to lead them to a transactions page, and this can be done through AdWords Conversion Tracking.
When a person clicks on a specific ad, you the advertiser needs to know what specific keywords and ad combination got the most clicks. Take that a step further and you may also need to know that keyword and ad emulate combination that got clicks delivered the most conversions. This is what AdWords Conversion Tracking is about. Google provides some basic analytics to help you select, insert and footstep keyword usage but, this cascade fleeting when paying off a broad based series of words like Film School.
This general ‘un-bracketed’ word could also lead people to circumstances about Schools, Film, and a fantastic deal movies in general. So your ad may never be witnessed because of all the other consequences that are possible. There is even an advantage to keyword tracking because it can provide over&wshyp;arching usage of your ads and the potential cost to your campaign based on those words.
To overcome the Google Analytics shortfalls, many software packages place forward larger number of ways to monitor keyword conversion clicks from PPC events. These other systems may still lack in the ability to look at key word grouping and end up with possible outcome that don’t work on the behalf of accurate data for the specific keywords. With this shortfall there is a possibility for lower profits, more time vital for selecting and maintaining keywords, and incompatibility with the server the data is to be pulled from.
In the ‘niche marketing’ world these pieces of hints can make or break any campaign. So without AdWords Conversion Tracking of entire keywords, there can be a higher cost of advertising and lower profits ensuing in a lower ROI. There needs to be a system that provides accurate and timely information on your campaign this is uncomplicated to use and is reliable. That system is called Affiliate Prophet. Advertising Your CPA Practice: The One Change You Must Make Now
Sunday, June 6th, 2010One of the largest complaints I hear from CPAs is a poor return on marketing dollars. The reason these CPA practitioners get poor results is because they don’t know the difference between excellent and terrible marketing. Following just one basic opinion can help you start on the road to better marketing: Give up on terrible advertising and invest your cash in excellent advertising.
You might be thinking: I do the same kinds of advertising as all the other CPAs in my market-surely it must be the “excellent” kind of advertising. But the most terrible mistake accountants make in marketing their CPA practices is assuming that because a lot of other practices use a particular kind of advertising, that kind of advertising must produce results. So, like lemmings, they all keep wasting cash on a habitual kind of advertising that really doesn’t produce results.
Are you throwing excellent advertising dollars into a black hole?
You are, if you spend your advertising budget on institutional ads (also known as image ads). You know what they look like: the name of your firm in a tasteful font, a few lines of text or bullet points listing the air force you place forward, your phone number and address. We are so surrounded by institutional ads that we might come to reckon of them as “standard” ads. They’re in the yellow pages, the newspaper, local newsletters and magazines, and even now on the internet.
Don’t be an advertising lemming!
Just because everyone else takes out institutional ads doesn’t mean you need to do the same. Sure, you probably want to be in the phone book. But any cash you spend on institutional ads could probably be better spent on direct-response advertising. A quick comparison of these two kinds of ads should help you to know why institutional ads are just plain terrible marketing, and direct response is just plain excellent.
What Is an Institutional Ad?
? Most common form of advertising (unfortunately)
? Also known as Image Ads
? Lots of blank white space
? Ad talks about you and how fantastic you are
? Doesn’t direct the potential buyer to a buying choice
? Hopes to build “brand awareness”
? Most times it is a waste of cash
What Is a Direct Response Ad?
? Ads that questions the prospect to respond frankly
? Focuses on the customer and his or her needs
? Purpose is to stimulate a phone call, letter or stay.
? Can be tracked and made accountable
Direct response advertising makes a complete case for the practice and the air force it provides. It overcomes sales objections. It answers all major questions. It promises results, backing up the promise with a risk-free, cash-back guarantee. Direct response advertising is all about your customer and his or her needs. Its purpose is to stimulate a phone call, letter or a stay. Best of all, unlike an institutional ad, it can be tracked so you can make every dollar you spend on it accountable. This then helps to measure the effectiveness of each ad.
The bottom line is this: Direct response advertising turns prospects into clients, and institutional ads don’t. If you are going to spend cash towards marketing your accounting practice, make sure you’ve taken the time to know “excellent” marketing techniques. The results you will get from the latter will be dramatically different than following what most of your competitors do i.e. institutional advertising.

After all, Utah has a large entrepreneurial base and a cache of business experts who have made offline business in Utah a rather fierce affair. Utah Internet Advertising that Works
The answer to the Utah Internet advertising question may not be the answer that business professionals want to hear and by no means is it the only one. There are a variety of ways to tackle advertising challenges but the obvious way to be successful in advertisement is to make associations between your harvest/air force and the needs of your customers. Finding the best way to make these evasive relations isn’t simple (especially if you want to remain ethically impregnable) but a simple way to start is to choose which advertising methodology you want to utilize by observing the current trends of standard and propitious advertisements. The observation of these trends doesn’t have to be expensive. Watching T.V. Commercials for instance can be an simple and inexpensive way of making your own analysis for your next Utah Internet advertising campaign.
This remainder of this article will focus on one of the current (i.e. From about the 60’s or 70s until the present) advertising trends that is working (and working well) in the United States today. You of course do not have to implement this practice in your own Utah Internet advertising campaign (some Utah professionals might even consider it unethical) but this analysis may help you to observe bonus advertising trends that would verify more beneficial to your own Utah Internet advertising campaign. The Current Advertising Trend of Rights to Indulgence, Self-Importance and Superiority: Would it work for a Utah Internet Advertising Campaign?
Consumers know that advertisers (some advertisers that is) are quick to use the basics of self preservation such as material goods (i.e. greed) and physical intimacy (i.e. sex) greed and sex to attract the average consumer. After all, every person is “susceptible” to these self-preserving needs. But, an online article1 by Richard F. Taflinger, PhD also points out that the concepts of self-esteem or a significance of “self” can contribute to successful material accomplishments and sexual intimacy which makes advertising to the “self” a standard way to kill two birds with one advertising stone! Of course, you might reckon this type of advertisement might not be used in Utah but if those are your thoughts, reckon again! Frosty Group, a Utah based company has by now used the practice for box (see not more than) based advertising and it is very likely that Utah Internet advertising examples are also (or will soon be) made available.Examples of Self Importance and Self Indulgence Advertisements
A very standard method of advertising today is to make a significance that every human being whether a man or a woman has a right to indulge a significance of self or a significance of self importance and superiority as long as he or she has the means to buy certain objects (of course the buy requirement is NOT usually explicit). Examples of this zeitgeist of indulgence and superiority include examples such as the L’Oreal campaign slogan, “Because you’re worth it,”2 which of course infers that every woman (regardless of how much she has to spend) has the innate right to buy mascara, foundation, eye liner and sparkled lotions. Bonus examples of the right to indulgence campaigns include the following examples:
Free Internet Advertising on Forums
Monday, January 25th, 2010Imagine Using Online Forums To Do Free Advertising!
Sunday, January 24th, 2010Consider this, while forum marketing is free, it also has the potential of providing highly targeted traffic to your website if you choose the right forums to participate in. They can be found all over the Internet; online business forums, internet business forums, internet marketing forums, network marketing forums. Just type any of these phrases into any search engine. Not only are forums a fantastic way to meet others, learn and exchange thoughts, but they are also a perfect way to brand your name and business.
Check out these helpful thoughts for your forum marketing success:
1. Previous to unification any forum, make sure that they allow you to add a signature file, not all do. Read the Faq previous to unification, not after. A signature will allow you to add three of four lines of copy describing you and your business. Every time you post in that forum your signature will show up at the bottom of your post, just like the signature used with email.
TIP: Your sig file should be place together in such a way that the forum readers will be interested in knowing what your website is all about.
2. It makes significance to only join forums that relate to your business and to what you are trying to accomplish. Don’t waste your time posting on a forum that will not bring any targeted traffic to your website.
TIP: Stay away from any forum arguments even if you feel that you have the answers. It is best for you business not to get involved at all.
3. Don’t just post to any thread but look for ones that are getting the most activity, such as in the Main Discussion thread.
4. Start your own thread or topic discussion and get lots of action, especially if your topic is of extreme interest to the group.
5. Using forums can enable you to quickly accumulate tons of backlinks for your website, and backlinks are really what topic most to your success and thus to the search engines.
6. Make an effort to post a few times a week, if not daily. Avoid over posting the same information as this will be considered spamming.
TIP: Committed forums are usually indexed by Google and the rest of the search engines, which means that the more evenly you post, then the more traffic you get from the search engines.
7. A further useful benefit from forum marketing is that you can build credibility among other internet business owners. But only if your posts show that you know what you are talking about and if they contain helpful information.
8. To help ensure that your posts get read, don’t forget to optimize them with the right keywords or phrases so your posts will rank high in the search engines.
9. A further fantastic benefit of forums is that you can just hang out and get a lot of useful information that could help your business grow.
TIP: You can also get some excellent thoughts for writing articles by tracking the threads that are generating a lot of discussion.
What better way to get a ton of long term traffic then just by posting in forums evenly. It does take some effort, but if you want to use free advertising methods that work, then you have to place in the time!
What are you waiting for? Join some forums and get posting!

Traffic Tips: Forum Advertising
Monday, January 18th, 2010SPREADING THE WORD .. LITERALLY Forum advertising is probably THE greatest form of “non advertising – advertising” that you will ever find. If that sounds like a lot of dual talk, it’s not. Let me clarify. Forums, especially the very standard ones, can bring you more sales, if done right, than any other form of advertising on the Internet. But you have to be patient because this isn’t a touch that you can just dive right into. What exactly are forums? Well, they’re places where lots of people hang out. There are forums for just about every niche in existence. If you were to just type in the word “Forum” in a Google search box you’d get over 1 billion results. You heard me correctly, 1 billion. Reckon there isn’t going to be a forum for your niche? Trust me, there will be unless your niche is underwater pole-vaulting. Most forums are members only. Meaning, in order to participate in the forum discussion, you have to sign up. They’ll question you for your name and email and some other info and then most will send you a confirmation email that you have to either comeback to or click some link in to verify that you’re a real live person. After that, you’re in. But, here is where most people make their mistake and quickly get themselves booted out of the forum, usually for excellent. Many people, when they join a forum, well immediately start blasting their business opportunity all over the place. This is the best way to get yourself thrown out. Nearly all forums, unlike message boards, have a strict “no advertising” policy. That means, no ads, period. You can question about certain programs or harvest and engage in discussion, but no “hey guys, check out this cool web site and don’t forget to sign up under me.” That kind of behavior will NOT go over well in a forum. Okay, you’re probably scratching your head and wondering, if you can’t make known in a forum, then how can you make known in a forum? Steve, have you perfectly lost your marbles? Maybe you’ve just been working too hard. Yes, I have been working very hard, but I haven’t lost my marbles. Forums are unquestionably the BEST place to make known your business. Let me clarify. Most forums, though not all, will allow you a signature. You can usually place anything you like in this signature, but check the particular forum rules for just what you can do. What I do is simple. I place my name and then under it I place a brief description of what I want to promote, usually one line, and then under that, the URL of the site. And that’s it. Now, the key is to get people to really look at your signature because most people don’t. How do you do that? By building credibility. How? This is what you do. After you join the forum, don’t start your own thread. Look at other threads, particular ones that question a question, like “How do I respond to a JV question for?” Read the post and if you know the answer, respond to it. Make it a honestly lengthy response so that the answer is really helpful. Do this for as many posts as you can find that you know the answer to. Ultimately, people will start to recognize you. But don’t do what I do and answer 80 posts in one day unless you REALLY have the smarts to back them up. I sometimes charge into a forum like a bull in a Plates shop. I can get away with it now, but if I tried this when I was just early, a lot of eyebrows would have been raised. Anyhow, keep doing this. After people get to know you, then you can start your own posts, but no ads. I usually will make a post with some suggestions about how to do a touch. I will usually get a lot of thank you’s for those. Or sometimes I will even question a question myself. Nothing incorrect with that, especially if you’re really stumped on a touch. Shows you’re human. You do this long enough at enough forums and you will start seeing sales come in by the bucket full. Three forums in particular that I am a member of are responsible for a huge chunk of my product sales. So take my advice. Hang out in forums. If you contribute, the rewards will come. And you won’t have to make known a thing. Jake Rileyhttp://www.Memberzilla.com
