Times are changing. In the modern western world energy for households is considered to be one of life necessities. Without energy total chaos will be the result. This has been the raw truth when parts California and New York were without energy. Lucky for us these were only incidents. But energy is becoming very expensive and using it has very negative side effects, for which we are paying the price today. To avoid a situation where only the rich can effort it, we need to change our course and take a different route. One promising route we can follow is the route of alternate energy.

When we look at the sources we use today one can say that they not only give us energy, but we pay a high price for it. Not only is the actual market price for traditional energy increasing the problems are getting bigger too. One disadvantage of using fossil fuel is that the supply is limited and with a growing demand the prices increase. Prices for petrol are increasing on a daily basis and ordinary people are really feeling the financial pain. It doesn’t look that this price increase will be turned around soon, instead we’d better get used to these high prices.
The pollution it causes has it effect on the climate by increasing the earths temperature. The effect on the earth climate is dramatic and we witness the consequences every day. Hurricanes, heavy rains and heat waves are some of the negative effects on our climate. Of course not all these are the blame of pollution, but it can not be ignored. By using these fossil fuels we are slowly poisoning the world we live in, killing the very civilization we hope to strengthen.

In search of the alternatives for traditional energy the concept of self-sufficient alternative energy was born. But what is it? It is the concept that your house can produce its own energy from the sun, wind and water. You can use sunshine to convert the sun rays into electricity and hot water. You can use the hot water to heat your home and of course for running hot water. With small wind turbines you can create your own electricity as with flowing water. These energy sources are available for nearly every one and best of all it is free. They also don’t pollute the environment and that is a great advantage.

For the self-sufficient alternative home you will need the technology to convert these energy sources into usable energy. This all seems great but the technology comes with a price-tag and it can be substantial. Depending on your location you might be able to use the mentioned energy sources. The more you alternate energy you can convert the more you save. When you look at the savings you should not overlook the investment. On the other hand you often can take advantage of tax credits, but that depends on where you live. Of course you can use the internet as a source of information on the latest news on tax credits; it will save you a lot of money and will shorten the return on investment.

There are enough reasons to make you home a self sufficient energy home. There are various ways to achieve this. If you are planning to invest in alternate energy take the time to do the research and let a reliable company walk you through all the alternatives including tax credits and other benefits. This will be an investment you will put a smile on your face for saving money and making this earth a better place. Others may see you as their inspiration and follow your footsteps.

In a previous article, I talked about some of the anti-bullying messages from the classic movie trilogy, Back to the Future. Here’s the other half of the lesson:

* SOMETIMES, YOU NEED MORE THAN WORDS TO MAKE YOUR POINT. George McFly finally makes his stand when he discovers his sweetheart being assaulted by Biff in a parked car at the school dance. Who can forget George dramatically closing his fingers into a solid fist, and delivering one of the most celebrated knock outs in cinematic history? In one moment, George gets the girl, ends Biff’s reign of terror, and earns the admiration and respect of his peers and his son.

LESSON- sometimes, using force is the only viable option. Sometimes, it’s the only ethical course of action!

* DON’T EVER TINKER WITH THE SPACE/TIME CONTINUUM. It’s dangerous. ‘Nuff said.

* ASSERTIVENESS IS KING. Following the parking lot incident, George is dancing with Lorraine when one of his classmates (who apparently didn’t get the memo that George was now a man to be reckoned with) rudely cuts in. Will George revert back to his old meek, weak and self-doubting ways? Not a chance. The interloper is quickly and firmly ‘cut out’, the dance continues, and the new romance glows a little hotter.

LESSON- the path between passivity and aggression is the best course. Assertiveness is a pattern of behavior – an energy- that announces the courtesy and respect you show for others is expected in return, and its well deserved.

* TIME TRAVEL IS VERY REAL – AND THAT’S GOOD NEWS FOR EVERYONE. No, you can’t hop into a tricked out sports car and fly into the past, or set the controls so you can skip decades into the future. But all of us are traveling forward through time, every day and every moment. Doc Brown’s happy philosophical musing at the end of the last installment is both optimistic and uplifting: The future is not pre-ordained.

LESSON- We have the power to create our own destiny.

* Bonus Tip

He who conquers others is strong; He who conquers himself is mighty. ~Lao Tsu

If your child is being bullied, roughed-up, intimidated or ostracized, you can help them turn their situation around quickly and permanently. The first step in developing a bully-proof child is teaching them self-control.

Mass article submission is the necessary part of any website promotion campaign. But not all marketers do this in proper way. I guess your article distributions are currently being wasted unless you use the best article spinning and article submission service. So read on to discover what this is.

Mass Article Submission Can Bring In Real Traffic and Profit Only If You Do It In A Professional Way

So How Can Be Professional Article Distribution Realized?

The only way I know is by using top notch article submission service or software which would deliver all-in-one features and allow you to automate all the process. Believe me, I’ve tried a lot of popular article distribution services and article submission tools, at last I chose Jetsubmitter which really is the number 1 on the market.

Why Is Jetsubmitter The Number 1 Article Submission Service On the Market?

Because the biggest disadvantage of mass article submission is that publishing the same article on hundreds of article distribution sites may seem to Google as duplicate content. But Jetsubmitter gives the easiest solution for this. Using Jetspinner included in this service, you can create 100 unique versions from one article ready to submit to 473+ directories. The best part is that with Jetsubmitter you use only white-hat spinning techniques and as a result of such professional mass article distribution campaigns, you get real results within a shorter time.

Conclusion:

In one word, if you want to get to the first page of Google the legal way but as much quickly as possible, then Jetsubmitter is the only Article Submission Service you can rely on while building multiple unique backlinks in natural way.

Most Americans do not take bullying seriously. Sadly, school personnel don’t take it seriously either. One of the most common myths about bullying is that it is “normal” and “everybody does it.” Nothing could be further from the truth.

Children with special needs may become the victim of a bully. If your child has been, or is, being victimized, he or she feels alone, unsafe and may even feel the victimization is justified. The effects of bullying impact mental and physical health and academic performance, often for many years after the actual incidents occur.

Who is a bully and what is bullying

Only about 15 to 20 percent of children are ever involved in bullying, either as a victim or as the bullying child. Bullies are children who have not developed the typical internal restraint system that other children have. Male bullies tend to favor physical aggression, while female bullies tend to strike at a victims’ social standing and friendships.

Bullies begin their pattern of aggressive behavior at an early age, and continue the pattern of intimidation for many years. A famous Norwegian psychologist who pioneered the study of bullying and how to stop it, Dr. Dan Olweus, identified three basic elements of bullying—bullying involves: 1) a pattern of aggressive behavior, 2) from a child in a position of power directed towards a child in a weaker position, 3) with the intention to do harm.

Why does a child become the victim of a bully

Up until about age seven bullies pick on anyone. Between the ages of eight and 16, bullies target specific kids. Those who become targets are more sensitive, cautious, and quiet than other kids, and more anxious. They also have a negative view of violence, withdrawing from confrontations of any kind and crying when threatened or attacked. When confronted, they are gripped with fear.

The effect of bullying on a child can be loneliness, poor health, depression, anxiety and poor learning

Being bullied leads to feeling anxious which then increases the child’s vulnerability to further victimization because bullies single out anxious kids. The difficulty victims have in sticking up for themselves seems to make other kids uncomfortable, and gradually, victims of bullying are rejected by their peers and become increasingly isolated and lonely. Research shows that social isolation and rejection cause severe stress.

Children being bullied dread going to school and have stress-induced illnesses such as stomachaches, and headaches. Even after the bullying ends, children who have been bullied are prone to depression and negative self-concept.

It is becoming more clear that children who are victimized have had limited practice in handling conflict. Children need to be given opportunity to solve their own problems. Over-protective parenting can erode a child’s critical problem-solving skills. However, overly strict discipline techniques have the same effect because they limit a child’s chances to learn how to interact and deal with disagreements and conflict.

How to Handle a Bully

Most of the following tips come from an article published in Psychology Today by Hara Estroff Marano.

What Children Can Do:

What Parents Can Do:

How does my martial arts training directly relate to my success as an article marketing expert? When I was seven, I was a scared, scrawny cry baby. Kids in the neighborhood stole my hat and I ran home crying! My younger brother, who was only four at the time, knocked on the bully’s’ door to get my hat back. My parents enrolled me into Chirico’s School of Karate, where I learned steps that took me from NOTHING to a SELF-ASSURED 4th DEGREE BLACK BELT. I also learned secrets on how to become a champion in the martial arts. I discovered that these same secrets helped me become a champion in all areas of my life.So do you want to know what these life-changing, business-evolving secrets are?7 Black Belt Secrets for Article Marketing SuccessSecret #1: Watch who you hang around withOne of our black belts drives all the way from Pennsylvania to New Jersey to practice. That’s a 3-hour round trip. Why? The furious energy at Chirico’s School of Karate is undeniable as soon as you walk in the door. You’re surrounded by a true grandmaster with more than 40 years of martial arts training and black belts who are determined to succeed.Who are YOU hanging around? Where are your articles being associated? Are you just blasting articles out there? Or are you carefully selecting websites and ezines which your targeted audiences and prospects read? Remember, who you associate with will determine the level of success you can reach.Secret #2: Consistency is the key for long-term success When I don’t train consistently because of traveling or personal issues, I lose karate tournaments. If you want to achieve your business goals online, you have to consistently write and submit articles. You have to be in front of your audience on a regular basis. Otherwise you will lose sales to your competitors.Secret #3: Ups and downs are part of the processDuring my martial arts training, I learned that there is NO possible way that you can win every tournament. Yes, I can’t even tell you how many trophies, medals and plaques I have won throughout my more than 20 years of martial arts training. But, I also lost count of how many tournaments I lost in the very first round. Not every article you write and submit online will be a success. You will have ups and downs with your article marketing efforts, but you have to keep writing consistently. It’s the only way you will win in the long term.Secret #4: Hard work is part of the gameIt took me ten years of blood, sweat and tears to get promoted to the rank of black belt. I learned that there are NO obstacles that I couldn’t beat if I consistently persevere. How many of us secretly wish our success would be handed to us on a silver platter? Get real. There is work involved. The solution is to make the hard work FUN by doing what you love to do (sharing your expertise) and delegating what you don’t (the mind boggling, manual article submission.)Secret #5: Model others who are already successfulMy instructor is a 10th degree black belt grandmaster. Yet, he doesn’t try to reinvent his own martial arts training programs from scratch. He adapts training techniques, forms and strategies that were created from the ancient masters who have proven their immense success. When writing your articles, model article templates that work for others and then adapt it to your own writing style.Secret #6: Don’t put all your eggs in one basketWhen we practice self-defense, we train for a variety of attacks from the front, sides and back. We do grappling and ground techniques. And, we even practice fighting against multiple attackers. So we’re ready for all situations.Just like we want multiple fighting strategies, you want multiple streams of income that will help you fight the recession. You can easily turn your articles into products like special reports and eBooks. Secret #7: Find a mentor or coach for faster resultsI would not have been a state champion for two years in a row, if my instructor didn’t walk me through every step of the way. I know many entrepreneurs who have wasted thousands of dollars on marketing programs that got them nowhere. Don’t make that mistake. Invest in someone to show you the way – the right way – the first time. (Not sure where to start? Join my Write Your Way to Profits Insiders Circle)Follow these secrets, and you will reach article marketing success. You will be found online. And, you will get more prospects, publicity and profits

Paid Internet Surveys

People nowadays are spending a big chunk of their time surfing the net, be it for the latest news, entertainment, sports, or to socialize. Some uses it as a source of information while some uses it as a source of providing information. The abundance of information available on the internet that caters for all walks of life is like a huge, wet sponge, waiting to be absorbed.

Those providing information in the internet come from various backgrounds, some are IT specialist, some are professional people providing professional consultations, some provides advertisement, but most provide entertainment and leisure. This vast difference in background has one thing in common – they are all using the internet as a means of generating money.

You must be wondering as to how I can also participate in this money-making route. Worry less, as there is one simple way to doing it. You can be a paid survey panel.

Paid survey panel is where you are paid to answer survey questionnaires. In other words, survey companies pay you to listen to your opinion. How good is that? Furthermore, you get to answer surveys that you are familiar with, and most importantly, you get to choose which surveys you would like to response to. Not much extra effort is needed. Where else will you find all good things that come together? Paid Internet Surveys

Now, how do you start?First of all, you must be cautious of everything that sounds too good to be true. Many people have been mislead by this perception and are tricked into registering at scam websites, without realizing that they have just registered into a trick website. There are a few key points to look out for when participating in paid survey sites.

Most of the survey companies usually do not charge any signing up fee. Remember, they pay you for your opinion, and not vice versa. As a beginner, do keep in mind that you should exit the website or stop from proceeding if the site requests that you pay a certain amount to be a member, no matter how small the amount might be. This might be a trap you will not want to fall into. Of course, once you are familiar, you will be able to tell which sites you can register, and which you should keep a distance. Paid Internet Surveys

It is also highly recommended that you setup another email account that solely concentrates on being a paid survey panel. This means that your primary email account (your existing one) is still used for personal use, while this new email account will cater for all your paid survey needs. This will ease your management tremendously, as well as allowing you to focus on your goal. Survey companies will send survey invitation to the registered email account, and it is important that you do not miss any of these opportunities. When mixed with your primary account, you might slip from noticing the invitation.

Before you decide to register for any survey company’s website, you might want to confirm the legitimacy of the company. One way of checking is to visit surveypolice.com. This is a comprehensive website that provides a review of various legal and scam sites. You may check the survey company’s website at this webpage, and may also report any scam companies you encounter along your way. This might take some time, but, it is always better to be safe than to be sorry.

The final and most important rule of thumb is that, we must never think too big. Being a paid survey panel will allow you some extra cash, but do not hope for it to be your main source of income, neither should you dream of earning your first bucket of gold this way. Paid Internet Surveys

Is your child developing strange behavioural problems.A few tell tale signs can suggest that your child is being bullied. Here are a few to question and deal with them before it becomes a very bad situation to handle.Talking to your child often and building up strong family relationships can mean a child can tell you they are being bullied and you can intervene before its too late. Not all children tell their parents though. you can later explore further just in case another problem is the cause of a child’s unusual behaviour.

1.If your child has a quiet and shy personality bullying can often go a miss. A child who does not feel they can approach a parent will often not tell you there is a problem, or if they keep coming in from playing outside telling you “mum they keep hitting me” you can sometimes be so busy and sick of them coming in every 10 minutes or so that you “say oh go on and play”, sometimes you want them to fend for them selves and stick up for themselves but bullies often pray on children who don’t fight back. so when bulling has become a very serious issue your child will feel they are unable to approach you with any serious problem at all.A child can become withdrawn and not want to play outside after school with their friends.

2.Stealing a child may result in stealing/shop lifting and hiding things from you and then giving them away to try make new friends, it often has the bullies then stealing from their lunch boxes, pocket money etc because they are known as a soft touch, and the child who is bullied will feel they will leave me alone if i give into them. which is often not the case. The other children could still not want to make friends with your child and may even cause more children to bully your child.. look out for hidden toys, pens, chocolate bars, money hidden under the pillow or bed which you know you havent given them pocket money for.

3. Loneliness and not eager to join in with other children, its a good idea to get your child involved with as many out of school activities as possble, it can aleviate the problem of socializing with children of the same age and is a good way for your child to mix with adults too. When your child attends these regular and is happy with lots of friends and suddenly doesnt want to join in it can often mean bullying is taking place wether at school or even at the activity class.

4.Your child can bully a younger member of the family in retaliation against the bullies. Because the younger child is smaller and younger he/she may not be able to hold your son or daughter off if fighting occurs. Your older child will feel poweful and in control where usually the bullies strip this from him/her when bulling happens frequently to your child.

5.Bedwetting, soling of pants, another tell tale sign that something is wrong.(please note)Children can go through a bedwetting stage around 7so if it is bullying other signs have started to develop such as nightmares, fear of the bullies when you go down the street, thay may make excuses to go another way round to avoid them.

we hope you never have to come across your child dealing with bulling the worse case was at age 11 one child out of a class of 30….26 children all against one student at school .The problems got worse until age 13 when the child got into a fight after having enough of bullying and ended up with detention plus striped of prefect duty in the last year at school.

Please note The above information is just a guide please look at all possiblities before rushing in at the deep end and shouting at the teachers, it could turn out that your child is the major bully after all.Take care why not visit our online store for more articles amd free advice for the under 5’s. at www.cheekychumsonline.co.uk

If your child with the disorder of autism has experienced bullying, there are things you can do to avoid it or stop it, as being parent(s), or caregiver(s). The first thing to consider, is what is the identification or facts about bullying?

* A bully has an attitude toward your child with autism, who has no compassion.

* A bully usually feels he or she has more power or is stronger in areas that your child is not, and will try to intimidate your child to have low self-esteem.

* Most bullies are insecure in many ways, and are usually lonely because they have very little or no social skills.

* Some bullies have a reputation of being a bully, and it makes the bully feel strong, so he or she must live up to his or her reputation of that label.

You, as parent(s), or caregiver(s), must establish a good relationship with your child, so he or she can feel comfortable coming to you without fear if there is bulling that is present. This could be taking place in school, functions, on the school bus, classroom, sports, even in family gatherings, and in families.

You can be on the alert, by identifying some of the bullying facts, and remembering, if your child does come to you with concerns about experiencing bullying, do not shut them out or ignore what he or she is expressing, to you.

It is an excellent plan, to try and understand why the bully is doing this to your child. Realize, that bullies want power and they usually want to destroy and take advantage in some way, of a weaker person, or an individual they can control or diminish. If your autistic child is being bullied, do not tolerate it, it must be stopped and corrected.

It is a challenge, but remember a schoolyard bully is too young to understand why he or she is doing the bullying to your autistic child. This kind of an individual, who is doing the bullying, only knows what makes he or she, to feel better. That includes his or her lack of friends and getting attention from others, which makes the bully feel he or she has friends. As I have stated in this article, bullying must come to a halt.

If bullying continues after you as parent(s), caregivers(s), have taken steps to stop it, I would encourage you to contact your local or private school, to see if they have an anti-bullying program that is available, and for participation. If not, find out if you could start one and put it together and meet on a weekly or monthly schedule.

No child needs to be bullied. It must be stopped and with the help of parent(s) or caregiver(s) and their insight, it can be avoided.

Twitter has become a major force in the social media landscape. And it has become a powerful resource for marketers. But there is a paradox with marketers using Twitter. Social media is about socializing and connecting with others who share your interests. Yet marketers have found that social media sites like Twitter are a great resource to connect with their target audience. So how does a marketer socialize and market on Twitter?

How Do You Market On Twitter?

It all comes down to marketing strategy. Marketers have to remember that socializing comes first when it comes to Twitter (and other social media sites). Â If all the marketer does is tweet marketing messages, their followers will feel like theyâ??re getting spammed. And the first thing someone will do if they feel like theyâ??re getting spammed is un-follow you. Good bye target market.

A marketer has to share, i.e., tweet, great content with their followers. Your tweets should be 80% content, such as sharing useful information and experiences, and starting conversations with people. The other 20% of your tweets can be marketing related. Sharing content your followers find interesting and useful will establish you as someone who can be trusted, and build your credibility, and authority.

Where Do You Find Stuff To Tweet?

One place is StuffToTweet.com. This website lists popular and interesting articles, videos, how-toâ??s, and recipes.

You can also tweet:

Do a Google search for these different types of media and youâ??ll find plenty of options.

You can also find content by using Google Alerts. Tell Google what topics you are interested in and Google will send you an email with a list of content for that topic.

How Much Should You Tweet Each Day?

You should tweet throughout the day, keeping the 80/20 rule in mind. But letâ??s get real. Who wants to be tied to Twitter all day? Granted there are some people who love to be on Twitter all day, but most people are too busy and staying on Twitter all day is impractical.

So what should you do? Use a service such as SocialOomph.com, which use to be called TweetLater. SocialOomph allows you to schedule your tweets throughout the day, week, or month. Itâ??s easy to do. Just write your tweet and schedule the time and date you want your tweet to go out. The service is free.

Conclusion

Effectively marketing on Twitter is about tweeting great content. With the right mix of socializing and marketing, you can successfully market on Twitter.

Happy Business Building,

Yoli

I have a quick question to ask you… “Are you sick and tired of hearing about RSS(Real Simple Syndication) and how it can take your online business to New levels with VERY little effort on your part?”

If you answered ‘YES’ to the question above then stop reading this article Right Now!

If you answered ‘NO’ then your going to love what I’m about to reveal to you about RSS and WHY its being consider the newest player in the VIRAL marketing game.

But before I do I think its important you understand the mechanics of each(RSS and VIRAL marketing) and what there role is so there’s no confusion.

RSS by definition — RSS stands for ‘Real Simple syndication or Rich Site Summary’ and is used to syndicate news or information and is usually associated with Blogs because blogs use an RSS feed to distribute their content.

Next…

VIRAL Marketing by definition — is any form of advertising and/or marketing techniques that “spread” like a virus without you having to do anything.

Now that you have an idea what the two mean and the roles they each play it’s now time to tie it all together.

I have another quick question…(As you can see I like to ask questions.) “What do all website owners and portal sites need on a 24/7 basis to keep their visitors/readers coming back day after day?

If you answered ‘Content’ then give yourself a pat on the back because your absolutely Right!

And what do RSS feeds contain that update on a 24/7 basis?

CONTENT! Whether its News related or Articles.

And where do website owners and portal webmasters go to find these much needed RSS feeds?

You guessed it… ‘RSS Directories’ where hopefully You submitted your RSS feed(s) to.

The great thing about ‘RSS Directories’ is they are all categorized making it easy for whomever is looking.

And if your RSS feed catches their eye, guess what? They’ll add your feed to there website where You’ll gain all that FREE exposure at their expense.

Now, just imagine if 100 or 1000 website owners picked up your RSS feed.

Your traffic to your website would start to Explode effortlessly without you lifting a finger.

And the cool thing is all you had to do was set it up once.

The more ‘Quality’ RSS feeds you have out there the more opportunities you have of getting picked up by webmasters.

Do you see Now how RSS is being considered VIRAL? And this all happens while your sleeping.

It gets better So hold on.

Do you publish your own Content/Articles?

If you do you are also in for a real treat because guess what other directories are starting to incorporate RSS into their directories?

That’s right, ‘Article Directories’.

By submitting your articles to the TOP ‘Article Directories’ the same effect will happen as I outlined with ‘RSS Directories’.

Remember this, people come online primarily for Information that will help solve a particular problem they are dealing with.

Websites contain ‘Information’.

Website owners need Fresh ‘Information’ on a 24/7 basis to feed their readers needs.

RSS feeds deliver content, whether its News related or Articles, on a 24/7 basis or whatever frequency the website owner chooses.

How can you take advantage of this Right Now if you haven’t already?

Simply set up a Blog at Blogger.com — http://www.blogger.com — and start posting to it on a Daily basis with your Articles, Product Reviews or News related postings related to your target audience.

Then go submit your Blogs RSS feed to all the top ‘RSS Directories’.

Here’s a link to a list of Top RSS Directories that you can submit your feed(s) to.

Go to: http://www.masternewmedia.org/rss/top55/

Once you’ve done that you’ll want to Ping your Blog to get the Search Engines to come visit and start indexing your Blogs pages.

You can do this by using this Free service called Ping-O-Matic.

Go to: http://pingomatic.com/

Well there you have it in a nutshell.

I hope you see the true Power of RSS and more importantly… “WHY Its Being Considered The Newest Player In The VIRAL Marketing Game”.

The only thing left for you to do is… Take Action!
