4 Steps To Tweet All The Way To The Bank Using Twitter!

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

We have all heard the name previous to, whether it was by a friend or in the news.  Twitter is becoming the fastest and simplest way to explode your online business.  It doesn’t topic if you are growing an MLM, real estate, construction, or any other kind of business.  Twitter is the new ago of marketing and social media.  Twitter was urban in 2006, by Jack Dorsey, Evan Williams and Biz Stone.  Twitter is the number one way to explode your business if done the right way.  With Twitter you have the ability to generate niche specified leads for your business.  It as simple as 4 steps

1.  Account Set-up

The first step is set up an account on Twitter.  This account will be for your business. Make sure it is not a mixture of personal and business.  I will clarify why later in steps 2 & 3.  You can do this by stopping by Twitter’s homepage.  Now previous to you set up an account.  Take some time to reckon about a username.  When picking a name, it is very vital because you’re going to be branding yourself with it.  It could be your name, a business name, what ever it is, make sure you have place so thought into it.  Once that is finished, you will set up how your site looks through the settings option tab.  You will want to go in to your settings and personalize it.  Make it who you are and what you are about.  Remember we are branding ourselves by our username, picture, and the way our site looks.  Upload a background, the more custom the better.  Then add your URL (should be the url to your blog.  But, can be your company Url).  Also add your one line profile.  The profile should be appealing and about who you are.  After you are finished completing your profile, you are ready to add your picture.  When count your picture, make sure it is a picture of you.  Most people will not follow a name if they don’t have a picture.  Also remember you are branding yourself.  If done the right way, when people see your picture, your name, website url or slogan somewhere on the web.  They will involuntarily associate it with you.  This is a very powerful way to be a chief and authority online.

2. Getting people to follow you.

Now that you have taken the time to set up your Twitter account to brand you, you are ready to add followers.  This is one of the most vital steps in this article so pay close attention.  When you are count followers, you don’t want to add everyone and anyone.  You want to add people who are in your line of work.  So if you are involved in real estate.  You will only follow and be followed by people in real estate.  If you are involved in MLM, you will only follow people involved in MLM.  There are two reasons for this method.  The first is you want to make niche specified leads.  The second is if you start following your acquaintances with this same account.  Once you go over 2,000 followers.  It will be hard to keep up with their direct messages and tweets.  Now your ready to build your following.  This is very simple to do; you will start by count 300 people a day until you reach 2,000 followers.  Once you reach 2,000 followers, every other day you will want to go back and un follow anyone who isn’t following you back.  The reason for this is once you get up to 2000 people.  If your following’s are much higher they your followers, Twitter will not let you follow any more people, until more follow you.  So make sure to permanently un follow people if they don’t follow you back.  That’s it, that’s how simple it is to get followers.

3. Becoming an Information source

Now that you are building a strong following, you are going to add value to their life and businesses.  See if you want to people to read your tweets and click on your links.  You will need to start small.  For the first three weeks, peep well-known motivational quotes with no links attached.  After that share excellent information with those following you, this can be any info you can find online.  Some excellent places for info could be Google, Articles and You Tube.  You will want to search these places and more to find fantastic information.  Once you have found it, peep it to your followers and add a link to that site.  Now I know this sounds crazy, but if this info you’re sharing helps your followers.  They will hold you as a person of value and start reading more of your tweets.  Also they will re-peep and share it with others.  Then they will want to know more about you and they will click your personal link on your Twitter homepage to find out who you are.  So you will want your that link to send them to your blog.  Then on your blog you will place links to your biz opp.  This is the first way to generate leads for your business.

4.  Generating Leads

Now that you have built a following and have added value, the second way will be once a name follows you.  You will want to send them a touch free as a thank you for following you.  There are many things you can find online that are free.  It could be a free self help eBook on your field or their field of business.  But make sure it is of fantastic value.  So, once you have found your gift.  When you see a name has followed you back.  You will send them a Direct Message.  The message will say, “thanks for following me, look forward to your tweets.  Please apart from my free gift.  (add link to your splash page).”  They will then click on the link and be sent to your splash that you produced to get their free gift.  If you don’t know how to make a splash page, use Google or YouTube to find out how.  After you have built and completed your splash page.  At the bottom of your splash page you will need to insert an information capture box, to capture peoples’ information.  This box will be attached to your auto responder (like aweber).  If you don’t know how to set up an auto-responder, use Google or YouTube to find out.  Once you have captured their info with your auto-responder.  This is called building a list.  It is one of the most powerful ways to build your online business empire.  In the first message sent by your responder, you will have the link to the free e-book.  Then all you have to do is write more messages that give value to the people on your list.  This info can be all about your business or a mixture of both.  You will want to send at least ten messages.  These messages will take up again to repeat forever or until they opt out.  Also, you can permanently add messages later on.

Well now you know how to set up your account.  You know how to add followers.  You know how to generate leads and make a list.  All you have to do now is place it into action.  This will be the simplest step of them all.  Just go do it, start with a touch and permanently take up again to revise.  It doesn’t topic if you fail.  Just permanently remember to fail forward.

5 Steps to Becoming Highly Infectious on Twitter

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

You’re tweeting mad if you’ve missed the fleeting term and long term benefits that a social media platform like twitter can make for your business and personal brands.

Some may even call you a tweethead. Those people aren’t very nice but here’s what is nice and that is generating new clients with minimal consistent output.

If you’re tired of utilising messy techniques to marketing virally through this monstrous medium no dread help is at hand. Here are my 5 steps to becoming highly infectious on twitter and how to benefit from wofm (word of mouth marketing).

1. Select your poison

Your poison is the message you choose to deliver, it is your; angle on a particular topic, your personality, your comedic relief, your professionalism, your enthusiasm and the feature of your content.

What do you want to be known for? Be very clear. Reckon of yourself as a celebrity or a musician that becomes known for a specific type of genre. Why would people want to follow you? Is it because you have a touch appealing to say? Or is it because of your sharp wit that’s teamed up with educational information that your consumers can proactively utilise?

Share content with your follower’s that is practical in nature and engages their emotions. Never underestimate the power of chemistry to spark wofm. People will talk about you if you; pleasantly surprise them, make them mad or get them to feel excited or even sad. Go them emotionally and they’ll go your message virally.

2. Choose your apps

Out of the 1000’s of apps you can team your twitter account up with I keep coming back to a couple of key ones. They are Tweetdeck and Social Oomph. Tweetdeck allows me to footstep what is being re-tweeted and who is spreading my message across the web whereas Social Oomph allows me to schedule my tweets in advance and manage my output to a few fleeting hours per month with maximum results.

Choose your apps carefully. It will be greatly dictated by your working style and your main objectives.

3. Get Re-Tweeted

Dan Zarrella, social media and viral marketing scientist studied ‘what’s in a Retweet.’ Out of 84,000 re-tweets here’s what he exposed;

* The term ‘RT’ was utilsed in 86.79% of the retweets and the term ‘ReTweet’ was only utilised 13.21% of the time.

* The word ‘please’ occurred in over 5% of the retweets and;

* 69.05% of the retweets contained links to an outdoor site whereas 30.95% of them contained no link at all.

As you can see from the data, it is not only vital to say ‘please rt’ but to also add relevant links where possible. Write articles and post them up on your websites blog and then proceed to promote the blog article via twitter posts. Shorten your url’s so you can fit your article headline in the post. Tweetdeck has an application for this.

4. Consistency – Are you a Cher, Madonna, Tina Turner or a Richard Branson type or do you give up like Sarah Palin?

How consistent are you? Like any marketing campaign you must be consistent in your message to gain footing and engagement. If you plot to use twitter as a tool then it needs to be used consistently to gain visibility. Have you ever read Madonna’s bio? That woman doesn’t give up and neither should you.

If you aren’t getting results wear a cone bra! Or, on the other hand you could take a different approach and test your twitter campaigning. Testing and measuring is vital. You can’t fix what you don’t know is going incorrect. A touch Sarah Palin should probably learn.

“Oh, no you didn’t!” Oh, yes I did!

5. Don’t be a Wallflower

Take a lesson in public relations from Lady Gaga. She works the media like no one else and like Gaga you need to learn how to work your twitter followers. Count a dose of controversy to your twitter posts result in an immediate reaction, sometimes positive and sometimes negative.

The trick with controversy is to place it into context. If you do plot to comment on a touch highly sensitive do your research and be prepared to back it up with statistical evidence or an inarguable debate. Nothing gets people speaking more than a topic close to their heart and there is nothing more mentally stimulating than a healthy debate.

Post a controversial article around your profession on your website, promote it via twitter and get individuals to have the debate on your platform. Who knows, they may just agree with your point of view and defend you against other critics. Now there’s a diehard fan worth taking to the bank.

Twitter Marketing: 6 Steps to Creating a Viral Marketing Campaign with Twitter Hashtags

Wednesday, January 13th, 2010

Copyright (c) 2009 OnlineBizU.com

Twitter, as a standard social networking platform, is a viral marketing strategy all on its own, especially if your followers like your tweets and retweet them to their followers. But, I’ve recently noticed a further trend in Twitter usage that increases its viral marketing capabilities through the use of hashtags.

What’s a hashtag, anyhow? Also called the beat sign, the hashtag (#) is added to a peep as a way of making trackable categories, groups, or topics that others can use to search for info using the Twitter Search feature. One of the most common uses of the hashtag is to peep what’s happening at an event or conference. The event organizer will question for all attendees use a specific hashtag, i.e. #yourevent, when tweeting about the event to your followers. So, then, a name who isn’t present at the event but wants to follow what’s happening there can simply search for #yourevent and see what’s going on and what participants are saying and sharing about the event.

Anyone can make a hashtag by putting hashtag (#) in front of anything. If you log into Twitter and look in the right-hand column, you’ll see the Trending Topics, many of which can be tracked with a hashtag. How can you use this strategy to make more viral marketing for your business on Twitter? By making a hashtag Twitter tips campaign.

Here are 6 steps to help you make your own Twitter hashtag campaign:

1. Research. What kinds of tips would be valued by your target market? On what topics do you frequently receive questions from your clients? My target market is permanently asking questions about getting more traffic, so I chose to focus on traffic generation strategies.

2. Choose your name. Choose a fleeting, simple name that reflects your brand and what you’re offering. Previous to making your final choice, you need to check your proposed name on Twitter Search (search by including the #) to ensure that no one else is using that name. Otherwise, your tweeted tips will blend together with the other hashtag group using that name. I quickly checked and exposed that no one was using #OBUTrafficTip, so that’s what I chose.

3. Make your tips. You can easily pick your tips out of an article or blog post you’ve produced. In my case, I had bought a PLR ebook that I used as a basis for my tips. Remember that your tips need to be less than 140 characters, including the hashtag name you’ve chosen and any links you include.

4. Link to relevant info. You get the most mileage out of these tips if you link the tips to a touch relevant to that tip. For example, if you have a bank of articles, each tip might link to an article you’ve written that has more details about the tip. For maximum exposure, you’ll want to link to info on your site or your blog rather than to the posting of an article in an article directory.

5. Upload the tips into TweetLater.com. This type of campaign is easily managed using TweetLater.com. Simply upload your completed tips and set them to distribute once a day or (several times a week) over the upcoming weeks by postdating them into the future. In this way you place these tips on autopilot and they post themselves.

6. Let them start to work their magic. It may take awhile for them to catch on, but ultimately others will start to retweet your tips as useful information they want their followers to access. As with most marketing strategies, consistence is the key here to your success.

It’s pretty simple to start your own viral marketing tips campaign using the Twitter hashtag. Simply follow the steps as outlined above, and watch as your number of Twitter follows grows each day!

Five Simple Steps to Twitter Optimization

Saturday, January 9th, 2010

All types of internet marketers and home based business owners are wondering how Twitter plays into Google’s search engine ranking.  The five steps listed not more than should clarity some of the common misunderstandings in addition to offers some simple pointers you can implement when optimizing your tweeting.

1. Account and Usernames

The username you choose to you should have relevance to your company or brand and your followers should be able to easily remember it since its attached to the end of your Twitter url.  Your account name shows up frankly after your username and can be the same or different.  Choose on an account name which not only promotes your company but also you as an individual and chief.

2. Bio information

There are two different ways to tackle this area.  On one hand you could include only the most keyword-rich verbiage as a means to maximize optimization.  This strategy is more obviously noticed users are only given 160 characters, but, it’s evenly less personal and down-to-earth.   By draw a distinction, other marketers choose the more personal route without the keyword stuffing.  These descriptions are evenly more effectual in relating to the reader, but, lack the potential for optimization.

3. Tweeting

The first several characters, or the “lead-in”, in any peep hold more weight in relevancy.  Several studies show that this text carries more significance to search engines since it determines the peep’s title tag.  Count on the first thirty to fourty characters influencing the “lead-in”.  Keep in mind that you need weigh the keyword density with conversational verbiage to it retains a personal touch.

4. Your “Retweetability”

Since Twitter only allows for 140 characters, its evenly hard to include your message along with the “RT” and username text in the case of retweets.  Remember that retweets will feature some of the most recent usernames who have also retweeted the message.  Viral tweets that spread like reproducing fruit flies should be no more than 120 characters to allow for several retweets.

5. Spread the word

Disperse your profile URL as usually as possible.  Common ways of doing this are writing social media articles or press releases so that people will come across your company or brand when learning about the growing industry.  Youtube videos that place forward news or instructional content are also key for spreading your twitter information as a byproduct.

How to Blog for Profit in 3 Simple Steps

Monday, December 14th, 2009

Blogging can be a fun activity and it can also be profitable. But, blogging for profit requires reasonably a different strategy compared to blogging for fun. If you are blogging for profit or plot to do so, then here are 3 simple but elemental steps you need to do to succeed in making cash from your blog.

1. Set Up Your Own Blog Site

If you are blogging for profit, you must have your own blog site, and not rely on a free blog from free blogging sites like blogger.com, blogspot.com, myspace.com, etc. The reasons you need your own site are:

(a) it projects a more qualified and serious image of your blogging,

(b) you can add a lot more useful and elemental plugins to give functionality and efficiency to your site, and

(c) you have full control and ownership over your work.

My personal inclination for a blogging platform is WordPress as it is simple to set up, easily flexible and has nearly limitless themes and plugins to make your blog more aesthetic, functional and nearly 100% automated. Some plugins are elemental tools to make your blog site more visible and profitable.

Choose a specific niche to blog, preferably one that you are passionate about. Only then will you have the energy, enthusiasm and knowledge to blog evenly.

Blogging for profit also means that you’ll need to discretely add advertisements like Google AdSense or ClickBank to your site, and to promote some fantastic and related harvest through your blog postings from time to time.

2. Blog Evenly

Blogging is fun and is evenly addictive. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll want to do it as evenly as possible.

The key to a profitable blog is consistency in your posting. Set a daily schedule of 1 to 2 hours to post in your blog. Post sensibly and make sure that your postings contain information that is useful for your readers.

Do not post simply for the sake of posting. It is not necessary to have a long post. Sometimes, several one or two paragraph postings can be more beneficial and welcomed than a single long post.

3. Publicize Your Blog

Profitable blogging depends on 2 vital factors. The first is the feature of your blog, The second is how extensive you can reach out to the people out there.

So, once your blog site is up and running, do not feel shy to promote it to your acquaintances and colleagues. Publicizing and marketing your blog site is an elemental part to blogging profitably. Include your blog site URL in your name cards and hand them out liberally to acquaintances, colleagues and acquaintances, even to strangers and people you are meeting for the first time.

If you are passionate enough in your subject topic, they will see and know your eagerness in sharing your passion with them.

You also need to expose your blog site to as many people as possible online. You can do that through various methods, such as advertising, using social networks, and collecting a following for your blog via newsletters sign ups and RSS. There are many WordPress plugins that helps to link your postings from your site to other social networking sites like Facebook and Twitters.

If you do all these 3 steps right, and you blog evenly and consistently, I can assure you that you’ll be making cash from your blog within 6 months or at most a year.

Simple Steps to Get Your Domain Name

Saturday, December 12th, 2009

The Domain Name System (DNS) enables people to navigate their way around the Internet. Every computer that is connected to the internet is exclusive by a string of numbers called an “IP address” (IP stands for “Internet Protocol”). As the internet urban so did the DNS, so that now a string of letters can correspond to a particular IP address. This means that instead of using a complicated sequence of numbers you can type www.adomianname.com, which is a lot simpler to remember.

No topic what sort of site you are intending building, you should consider getting yourself a domain name. Your domain name is your personal web address and can imitate anything you desire, including your own name or the subject of your business.

There are several reasons why an internet business requires its own domain name including:
• A domain name makes your site more credible and reliable
• The URL of a domain name will never exchange even if you exchange you website hosting, so that customers are not needed to be informed should you exchange hosting.
• Choosing a excellent domain name will make your site more memorable to your clients, so that people will retract your company easily which spells more profits.
• Advertisers and sponsors are more likely to sponsor websites who have their own domain name.
• Your won domain name allows you to set up various email addresses for specific uses, e.g. support@yourdomain.com and sales@yourdomain.com

The organization that is responsible for maintaining and co-ordinating the entire domain name system is called ICAAN. TO register any domain name you need to use an ICAAN accredited domain name registrar.

There are numerous domain name registrars and fees for domain registration vary from $8.95 to $35+. Some web hosting companies now place forward a free domain name registration as part of their hosting packages.

Registering your domain name is essentially a four step process as follows:

Step 1: Carefully consider what domain name you would like, try to make your domain name as concise as possible and specific to the site you have in mind. Construct a list of alternative domain names, in order of inclination. This is because with the huge number of websites in the Internet, some of your thoughts for the ultimate domain name might have by now been taken by now so the more names you can reckon of, the better.

When deciding on your domain name also consider the top amount domain TLD) extension you want. The TLD is the .com part of the domain name domainname.com. There are a variety of domain extensions, and the one you wish to use may well affect the price you will have to pay.

The range of TLDs includes .com, .net, .org, .info and .name (used with a personal name e.g. JezLacey.name). None of these TLDs have specific requirements. In addition to these universal TLDs there is also .biz, which is for commercial and business use only. Irrevocably, there are also country specific TLDs, which can only be used by persons who are citizens and residents of that country and by businesses and organizations present in that country where domain extension is applicable, example include .us (USA), .co.uk (UK) and .fr (France).

Step 2: Obtain the IP address or domain nameserver from your hosting company. A nameserver is a special type of domain that is used to identify a particular server. After registration you will need this information in order to set up your domain for use.

Step 3: Prepare for payment. The usual method of payment with domain registrars is via a credit card.

Step 4: Apply for your domain name. You can use your web hosting company to do this, or one of numerous accredited domain registrars. Excellent examples include enom.com, the ever standard GoDaddy.com, Dotster.com and many others.

When registering your domain name, ensure that you are the registered domain owner. This vital because a web host can set themselves as the domain owner, and if they do, then you have no say in what happens to the domain name. For example, if you choose to transfer your domain to a further registrar. For this reason you should also ensure both the technical and administrative contracts should be you.

When transferring a domain the new registrar will try contacting the domain owner first, then if that fails the administrative and then the technical contact. There have been cases where the web host has registered itself as the administrative and technical contact for a client. They can then make it hard for clients to go to other registrars by pending the go or by even refusing. So, stay in better control and avoid this kind of situation.

With these guidelines, you are now well equipped to register your own domain name. As excellent domain names are getting more and more hard to find, if you by now have an thought for a fantastic domain name, register them now previous to it’s too late.
