Article Marketing Just Got Easier For Content Publishers Thanks To RSS Syndication Technology

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

RSS(Real Simple Syndication) is the BIG… Buzz around the Internet these days because of its Powerful ability to syndicate content Effortlessly and Instantly across the Internet to any website and/or subscriber who subscribed to that particular RSS Feed with a 100% GUARANTEED delivery.
What other technology online can guarantee you that?
Email? I don’t reckon so.
RSS is it… Period!
And the crazy thing is, everybody who publishes content on their website on a fixed basis is quickly adapting because of the many benefits RSS offers because lets face it, updating content manually on any given website is a very time consuming task, especially when you have to do it on a Day In and Day Out basis.
But, by having an RSS enabled website, not only do you get high feature content INSTANTLY delivered, you can now give your audience more content with less work on your part leaving you more time to focus on other vital tasks you might have sitting on the back burner when you have time.
This is the main benefit RSS Syndication gives the website owner and/or valued subscriber.
Now that you have some thought of how RSS can simplify updating content on any given website, what does this have to do with Article Marketing and how does it benefit the content publisher who writes the articles?
Well… lets talk about it.
We all know that content is the life blood of the Internet and is why most people come online… right?
We also know that RSS syndicates content to whatever website that is RSS enabled and/or subscriber who uses an RSS aggregator.
The BIG question that’s probably floating around in your head is… how do Article Publishers who write the articles benefit from RSS Syndication?
The answer is simple really.
Ever heard the phrase… “The Internet Is Nothing More Then A Numbers Game”?
If not, now you have and that is exactly what RSS Syndication will do for anyone who does or is just early out can expect to benefit from by unification the Article Marketing game.
Let’s talk about this a small more so it’s clear in your mind.
Let’s say you write your first article and your manage to locate, lets say… 20 Article Directories that place forward FREE Article Submissions and place forward RSS Feeds to website owners and to the general public to use.
And lets say that those 20 Article Directories collected all their RSS Feeds and submitted them to all the TOP RSS Directories on the web so that website owners and/or people with RSS Aggregators can locate those RSS Feeds so they can subscribe to them.
You with me so far?
Now, you go and submit your article to all 20 Article Directories and wait for their comeback to see if your article got accepted.
You check your Inbox and find that all 20 article directories accepted your article into their database and would be syndicating it within the next 24 hours.
Notice I said the word “syndicating”. That’s because once your article is approved by that article directory and because these article directories use RSS technology to syndicate NEW content to whoever is subscribed, guess what happens to your article?
It gets syndicated to whoever is subscribed to that RSS Feed. So if you submitted to all 20 article directories under whatever category, and there were 200 subscribers per article directory subscribed to that RSS Feed, guess how many potential customers you will possibly come in contact with through your articles Resource Box?
Lets do the math… how’s 4000 potential subscribers, which means you have a potential of receiving 4000 potential visitors to your website of choice… Unquestionably FREE!
That’s the power of RSS Syndication and is WHY article marketing is becoming one of the #1 ways to promote ANY website online.
I wrote this article just as a quick example of what RSS Technology can do for anyone using it on their websites and for those who use articles as part of their website promotion strategy so you can see how RSS will get your articles more exposure with NO extra work on your part.
I truly hope you see the benefits I outlined within this article and hope you take the neccessary steps to getting started with writing your own articles, if your not by now, so you too can benefit from RSS Syndication like everyone else.
So… with that said, what are you waiting for?

Update on RSS – Really Simple Syndication

Updates on RSS Directories

RSS directories are standard these days. RSS is usually used initially by news sites to allow others to syndicate their news tales. Now, a lot of other websites are using RSS. It is being used in flagging new forum headlines, auction listings, sales listings and others.

The meaning of RSS is really not clear. RSS may or may not be an acronym, really. RSS may stand for Really Simple Syndication. But others say its Rich Site Summary and sometimes Rich Syndication Standard. The noted creator of RSS directory would be Netscape. It was released sometime in Development 1999. The included a UserLand application which is called scripting news. Netscape stopped developing it, but UserLand continued doing so. A further company, RSS-DEV Working Group also released their own version.

RSS directories are sites that collate all RSS links and place them in different categories for other applications to use. This is similar to webhosting, only instead of web pages, they contain RSS links. These links will pop out on the website and when you click it, you will be directed to the main source of the link.

RSS poses a lot of uses for those who like to use the Internet for marketing or commerce. Here are the things you can do with it:

Make links from their website to yours. If you are selling or promoting a touch, web traffic is vital. The more RSS directory you upload, the more chances you have people seeing those and checking your site out. And if they have customized their sites with your RSS feeds, then they would get updated listings from your site to theirs involuntarily.

Collating analysis. If you have a brand and you? like to know how your competitor is doing, you may use RSS to see what they have so far. Get a directory of their product or service so you.l know first hand what they have come out with. With the data gathered you now can plot on how you can counter them.

Tracking your own progress. If you can check out your competitor, of course you like to check out too how your business or product is going too. With an RSS directory of your own, you can know how many people are interested in what you are selling or offering.

Increases productivity. Putting up RSS directories, let say for newsletters, adds efficiency to your company. If you use RSS for sending out newsletters instead of mailing them to recipients, you? eliminate the possibility of your letter being classified as spam by users, or being sent in a closed mail account.

Increases efficiency. There are a lot of websites or news articles that could be beneficial to your brand or company. At times, you like to add them to your site. Without the use of RSS, you have to copy the entire thing down and note where you got it. If you use RSS, then the headline and part of the tale shows up on your site. And this is an automatic process now. If you use RSS, you just include the directory and involuntarily, the headline appears without you doing much.

Posting RSS directories could cost you some. But the benefits override it. Some sites even place forward free RSS directory posting. If you are just early up, you may like to check those out. The more RSS directory you have up, the more the possibility that you are sending out information to the people interested in your goods. Reason behind is that people will only get the RSS feeds that they are interested in. If they get yours, they sure are the target market.

Disseminating information online has become simpler with RSS. The technology provided a cost-effectual way of transferring facts and figures out. Utilizing it would certainly add up to your marketing approach. With it, you have an avenue of reaching out to even more people so easily.

RSS uses XML to syndicate pages. Though that sounds a small technical, there a lot of websites that has user-friendly interface to guide in building your directory. Go ahead and place up your RSS directory up now. RSS has proven to be elemental. It has stopped to be an option; it has become a necessity.

Blog Content Syndication Tips

Monday, December 28th, 2009

Have you started a groundbreaking new blog and you are wondering why nobody is visiting your blog, even though you have been dutifully posting content on a fixed basis? You see, your blog is like any fixed website – you need to get the word out that your blog is online previous to anyone will start visiting your blog. The best advice I can give you is to do the SEO part of your blog right. SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. Most blog software like Wordpress is by now search engine optimized. That means with minimal tweaks, your blog is by now search engine friendly. What is challenging for most bloggers is that they find it hard to build inbound links. Inbound links is a huge part of SEO. These are links that are pointing to your blogs from outdoor sites. They can come from other websites, blogs, forums, web directories, etc. But since you have no control over these blogs, you must have a strategy to somehow get others to link to you. Now there are many link building methods that you may wish to try out. One link building method that is gaining popularity quickly is Blog Content Syndication. Blog content syndication works in a similar fashion as article marketing. The thought is to contribute to other blogs, and in exchange for the content, you will get 2 or 3 inbound links. These links can be somewhere within the content, with your target keywords. Your target keyword phrase is very vital. For instance, if you are aiming to get better rankings for “Blog Promotion”, then your anchor texts should be “Blog Promotion”, and not “Click Here”, or “Stay Website”. Anchor texts are the texts within your links. Many new bloggers believe that once they build the blog, the visitors will come. So they keep count new content evenly, firmly believing that fresh content will attract the attention of the search engines and flood their blogs with tons of traffic. It wouldn’t take long for them to realize that it’s not going to happen. A new blog, like any new website, has to be promoted for it to start receiving traffic. When it comes to blog promotion, there are many ways of doing it. A blogger can try to network with other bloggers, submit some feature articles, or promote the blog on a bunch of web directories. All these methods involve link building. The key thought here is to build as many inbound links as possible so that (1) the links will send traffic frankly, and (2) the blog will start to rank well in the search engines. All the major search engines pay a lot of attention to inbound links. But, do be careful not to get your blog associated with low feature websites. That may hurt your blog instead of helping with the rankings. Today, more and more bloggers are turning to what is know as Blog Content Syndication. The thought of posting content on other blogs is not new. You can post your links on other blogs by blog commenting, or by being a guest poster. You may even buy a blog post. A paid blog post is when you pay a blogger to include an article with links pointing to your own blog. Blog Content Syndication works in a similar fashion as article marketing. The concept is simple enough – get your content out to as many relevant blogs as possible. That will help drive targeted traffic to your blog, and help you achieve the search engine rankings that you want.
