Very Useful Sites to Check Pagerank or to Upload Files to Multiple Hosting

Sunday, March 7th, 2010

Wow, that’s what I thought when I saw these sites. Both have unique content that can be compared with other websites that had by now come to the surface. The front page was a very unique and minimalist but it’s so modern, easily understood by anyone who accessing these websites for the first time.

RankBuzz Our First site is RankBuzz, according to the description obtained; this site can search information about a domain and can also be an SEO tool. When I entered my website into RankBuzz form, it would load for a moments and then it will show information about my website from Google Pagerank, Alexa Rank and several ranking from other sites, how my pages are indexed by Google, Yahoo and Bing , how many social bookmarks have save our pages, and the estimate value of my website.

In addition to providing information, RankBuzz also gives advice about what to do to boost my site rank, making it simpler to accelerate web development process. RankBuzz is very useful for people who evenly check their website value in the eyes of Google or Alexa, and how to improve the website so that they can have a high ranking.

RapidMirrors Our second site is RapidMirrors, perhaps when reading the title you would have guess that this is only an a further file hosting site. Apparently, when I access it, this site has a fantastic feature to upload a file to multiple file hosting. Besides multiple upload, RapidMirrors also can handle remote upload that is used to transfer a file from a server e.g. our own server to multiple hosting at once. After a successful upload, the download link will appear in different page. When opened, it will show lists of every file hosting that have successfully uploading the file and just pick your favorites file hosting to download.

RapidMirrors is very useful for uploading file to multiple file hosting especially because of the feature that provide a download link for all supported sites.

Why Trackbacks are Useful for Blogs

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

If not, thatâ??s alright, as most people donâ??t reasonably know how trackbacks work and why they are useful for a blog. In this newsletter, weâ??re going to go over trackbacksâ??what they are, how they work, why they are vital to blog traffic, and how to get more trackbacks. After youâ??ve read this, youâ??ll know practically everything there is to know about trackbacks.

What are trackbacks?

The concept of trackbacks is a bit hard to clarify. So weâ??ll use an example to clarify it in the best way possible.

OK, say you see a fantastic blog post on a further personâ??s blog and want to link to it on your blog. You could do this the ancient-fashioned way by manually putting a link on your site to that blog. But, if you do it this way, the person whose blog post you are between to wonâ??t know that you are between to them unless you tell them.

This is where trackbacks come in. A trackback is a program which will say the owner of a blog when one of their posts has been linked to at a further blog.

How do they work?

A blog that has a trackback system set up will have a link at the bottom of every blog post. This link will say a touch like â??Blog This!â? Anyone who clicks the link can then place a link to that blog post on their site. The person who posted the original blog will then be told via email that their blog posting has been linked to. Additionally, the link that was clicked(â??Blog This!â?) will exchange to â??Trackbacksâ?. From that point forward, the â??Trackbacksâ? link will keep footstep of how many people have chosen to blog about that particular post. So after the first trackback, it will say â??Trackbacks: 1â?. The number of trackbacks recorded will be updated as they occur.

Why are trackbacks vital to blog traffic?

The simple answer is that trackbacks are vital because they increase awareness of your blog. Trackbacks also make a blog seem more credible. After all, people have to reckon your posts are excellent enough to be trackbacked.

Anytime a person makes a trackback on your blog, they make a post on their own blog about your blog. This, in turn, lets their readers know about your blog. Chances are, their readers will want to stay your blog to see what the huge deal is. If they see a touch on your blog that they like, theyâ??ll keep coming back for more, which means youâ??ll have a total new fanbase of readers. That means more traffic for your blog.

Can you imagine what would happen if 5 different bloggers trackbacked a post on your blog? Depending on how standard their blog is, thatâ??s potentially as much as hundreds of new readers for your blog! Pretty incredible, right?

Also, every trackback made, assuming it is a legitimate one (and some trackbacks are spam, especially if they are there only to link to a further site) adds credibility to your blog. Blogs with high amounts of trackbacks look credible because lots of people like the posts enough to trackback them.

How can I increase the number of trackbacks I get?

The simplest and best way to increase trackbacks is to frequently post. If you post frequently (2-3 times a week), people will have reasonably a few posts that they can trackback. But, it is vital to make sure that your posts are of a excellent feature. Feature blog posts are those that people can relate to and are simple to read. If you post a long dull rant, people probably wonâ??t want to trackback that. But if you post a decent sized rant that is entertaining (and that people are likely to agree with), youâ??ll get trackbacked.

The number of trackbacks you get is perfectly dependent on the number of visitors your blog receives and how frequently you are able to make feature posts. If youâ??ve got a excellent amount of visitors and write excellent blog posts, youâ??ll get trackbacks.

Trackbacks are a wonderful thing for every blog. You are able to know when your blog posting has been posted about at a further blog, plus you potentially gain more visitors. Itâ??s a win-win situation for you!

10 Useful Tips for Newbies and Expert Bloggers

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

Tips for making an effectual blog. Blogging dont follow any rules is it the art of expressing thoughts and feelings. A blog may focus to a specific topic such as web design, home production, sports, or mobile technology.

1.) Be straightforward to your topic

Opinions are generally accepted but the content of the bits and pieces in the blog should all relate to a general theme. Unless you have an uncanny knack for wit, humor or cynicism, the majority of your readers will be interested in the content that relates to a specific certain theme or loosely certain area of interest. Most readers won’t care that you eat Cheerios for breakfast. They may, but, be interested in the fact that vinegar takes out stains and that toilet paper rolls make fantastic wreaths. Define a topic and stick to it. This will ensure that you make a loyal following of interested readers.

2.) Be substantial

If you are attempting to make the impression that you are knowledgeable about a specific industry or sector, be sure that you stay current on news. If you are endorsing a product or voicing an opinion, be sure to check your facts; your reputation is at stake. If you are offering an opinion, be sure to be eligible your post, making it clear that the content is intended as an editorial.

3.) Make a news that is timely

While blogging every day can be a drain, it is vital that the information presented is current and accurate, writing an article or blurb about a touch that happened 6 months ago, will not be of interest to many. Telling your audience that Martha Stewart was convicted and will be going to prison, after her condemn is completed will make people question the value of your columns.

4.) Propose a schedule

Make a schedule and stick to it. Realizing that blogging requires time and effort, don’t make unrealistic expectations and be unable to deliver. An occasional lapse or holiday is generally understood but readers returning to find stale, out-dated content are going to find a further blog with similar content. New blogs and RSS feeds are popping up on a daily basis. If you have worked hard to develop an audience and a community you don’t want to lose them due to lack of communication.

5.) Be clear and keep it simple

Keep your posts and blog entries clear and simple to know. Remember, the web is global and expressions, idioms and acronyms don’t permanently translate. Sometimes a small explanation goes a long way.

6.) Place multiple keywords

If the goal of your blog is to increase your visibility, include related keywords in the title of the blog. Use the title as a headline to attract interest. Each item post should have a title that will attract attention but still be relevant to the post. The title should be no longer than 10-12 words.

7.) Quantity matters.

In order to attract the attention of search engines, you will need to develop content and substance. A headline or simple condemn is not going to generate the interest of readers or help with search engine ranking. Be sure to archive ancient blog posts to develop a large portal of similarly-themed content.

8.) Update it evenly

If your blog content is updated frequently, search engines will tend to spider the pages at fixed intervals.

9.) Check it for errors

It only takes a few extra moments and can save you from having to make embarrassing explanations. Remember that whatever you publish on the Internet can be found and archived. Reckon carefully about what you post previous to doing so.

10.) Try RSS

RSS will increase your blog’s reach. It is vital that you include your blog’s content in an RSS feed to increase readership and distribution.

Most weblog audiences are small, but with time and fixed updates audiences grow. Bloggers may never have more than a few hundred readers, but the people who return to evenly are generally interested in what you have to say.

Is Twitter Useful for Vision Mapping

Sunday, January 3rd, 2010

Twitter has taken the internet with a storm, everywhere you look, everywhere you search everyone is sending twits and is twittering. The question is, is this worth the time and effort to get involved in? The answer to this question is, yes.

 l. Twitter is a free social networking site where you post what they call tweets, it gives you the ability to keep in touch with hundreds maybe thousands of people on a daily and sometimes hourly basis with current events and information. Twitter is also called a micro-blogging service that allows users to post fleeting messages of text of not more than 140 characters or about 25 words and share them with your “followers”. Tweets can be posted via the web site, text messages from a cell phone or any of the various third-party applications designed to work with Twitter.

2. These messages are posted to your profile or your blog, sent to your followers, and are searchable on Twitter search. Twitter offers many ways to post updates, from the web in the update box, from your phone, from your mobile web browser using Twitter.com. After you click the follow button on a name’s profile, you’re following them. The follow button will exchange to a box that says “Following” with a drop down option to remove a person if you want to. See a list of people you’re following by clicking on the following link on your profile or your home page’s sidebar.

3. All you need to use Twitter is an internet connection or a mobile phone. To get an thought of what other people are saying or doing on Twitter you can search by keyword or just check out the trending topics to what’s hot on Twitter right now. If you’ve registered your phone with Twitter, you can set up text preferences for a person as well; Twitter sends you an email when a name new follows you.

4. What does it mean to follow a name on Twitter? Following a name simply means receiving their Twitter updates. When you follow a name, every time they post a new message, it will appear in your Twitter home page. Twitter offers other ways to follow people too: you can get updates from certain people on your phone. When you make an account, you can search for people by name or user name, import acquaintances from other networks, or invite acquaintances via email. Once you’ve found your acquaintances or business associates, follow them to start getting their updates. New messages are added to your home page as people post them, so you permanently get the updates in real time. When you log in, you can see what the newest updates are.

5. Everyone can view your Twitter profile as it is public by default, if you’re hesitant to have strangers read your updates, you can protect your profile by selecting approved followers and keep your updates out of search. There are spammers on Twitter and it is positive for you to block them, and every one on Twitter will thank you for that. It is excellent to know that Twitter Support keeps an eye on block reports to see who is getting in distress on Twitter.

6. Miscellaneous Twitter trivia: Oprah is now on Twitter and it is said she is posting her own Twitters; Ashton Kutcher became the first Twitter user to have one million followers; Twitter users can gather, meet and socialize while raising cash for charity; it has been said that if they hear the word ‘Twitter’ one more time they are going to go virtual postal and the same goes for Peep, Tweetted, Twittering and Tweeter; Britney Spears and many of your favorite celebrities are committed Twitter members; why is there a star at the end of updates?. The star is a way for you to mark an update as favorite.

7. As in any social setting there are certain common courtesies and Twittiquete one should keep in mind; and on Twitter it is no different, some people take the “What are you doing?” question a small too literal, and also fill the site with 20 updates a day. Learn the etiquette on Twitter and be a fun and appealing Twitterer and find out how much fantastic information is out there and what your favorite followers are doing without being obnoxious.

8. Last but not least, Twitter is fantastic for marketing and finding information that is useful for your personal empowerment and/or improvement, this can include building your business and the use of vision mapping to manifest the business you intend to improve and/or develop into what you want for it to be. Vision mapping is a fantastic visualization tool to manifest your hearts desires and the tool to use for this is Vision Map Videos, it is said that if you watch your video once a day for 30 days you will see every area of your life and/or business being produced the way you visualize it.

If you haven’t joined the Twitter micro-blogging world, now is the time to start, but do beware, it can be addictive.

Useful Traffic Tips to Generate Traffic

Friday, December 25th, 2009

If you are blogging to attract new customers and prospects to your business, it is vital that you have a successful blueprint to follow. With that in mind I produced my step by step Blogging Blueprint, which you can find not more than: 1 While writing a blog, reckon like a visitor, as this helps immensely. If a blogger dons the visitor’s thinking cap, there is more likelihood the words a visitor will use to query search engines will be present in the blog. 2. Add a excellent layout and memorable adverts to a blog. This helps because the visitor might want to stay longer reading the blog, rather than scooting away to a further site. 3. Once the blog is in print, it is a excellent thought to ’stay’ the blog assuming to be a visitor. Going over links and various pages can give a feeling of how a visitor will react to the blog. 4. Inspect the site evenly, as this can uncover any broken links. Likewise, it is also a excellent opportunity to do some site maintenance as well. Jotting down points like what can be added to augment site appeal and what else could be added to the FAQ page can be of immense advantage. 5. Use valuable keywords that are more likely to be used by visitors to search for your blogs. If there are individuals who want to read about, let’s say, power gardening tools, then missing out key words like power or gardening can be a huge mistake. This is because search engines will give the blog a go-by and opt it out of the listings. Further, the visitor may even chance upon the blog in the listings, but may choose to avoid the site, because the keywords were not highlighted in the large search engine listing. 6. Posting articles about 700 words in part is considered excellent if taking into account search engine indexing tactics. You can make the post search engine friendly by inserting relevant keywords and links at the right places. 7. You can incorporate specific keywords, which are adored by search engines. Integrate keywords into title, meta and alt tags to entice the search engine spider to give the blog a higher page rank. 8. Listening to feedbacks and visitor complaints can be a blessing for you. Despite a lot of effort, a blog might contain obvious technical glitches or perhaps the content might require further elaboration or alterations. Just keep making fresh content, Content is king. 9. Spamming can sometimes be disguised as intelligent comments, which might include further links or invitations to a spammer’s website. Niche blogs might wish to opt out of the custom of inviting comments. 10. If you are into business blogging, picking up excellent categories like skin care, dry skin care, skin care specials, exclusive skin care harvest, etc can be particularly rewarding. A excellent post on niche harvest can improve keyword density while providing hearty reading material for visitors. 11. Many bloggers give up after publishing a few blogs. Even if there is no right answer to how evenly you should blog, the secret of profitable blogging is to publish evenly and as frequently as necessary while avoiding both extremes. 12. Use permalinks (stable links) where servers allow their use. Permalinks allow the use of words as path names, unlike fixed links to articles that may contain percentage signs or shorter cryptic pathnames. The secret is to use key words as path names on servers where the use of permalinks is allowed. This makes the site more appealing to those search engines that also look at links for indexing. If you reckon I missed an vital tip, or you disagree with me? feel free to leave a comment or start a discussion.
