Video Blogging entry of the Numark NS7 by DJ Esco

This is a quick run through on some of the the Numark NS7 Hardware features. I thought the unit was reasonably incredible due to its acuracy while playing with one at Guitar Center so I had to buy one and take it home. Keep in mind I am doing this because I felt guity for purchasing the only show Guitar Center had and realized that many lost the opertunity to see first hand what it does. So here is my tribute to Numark on a further brilliant product which brings an analog feel combined with a digital experience. =)

I fyou are using the NS7. You will not need a sound card. The drivers will install the one built into the NS7 and your audio output from ITCH will go out from the NS7

@JFPN44 the iDJ2 is fantastic as a stand alone or with other devices. You can not really compare the two to each other. But keep in mind that the NS7 was designed to work with Serato and is potientialy more supple by count hardware such as the NSFX (and I suspect more will come both in the form of hardware and software). As you saw I personally have both if compact and simple (get the job done) is what you need then iDJ2. If you want to take over the world and more then NS7 ;)

hey ahh im about to get a setup and i saw the vieo where you had the idj2 and the NS7. im new at this but have used the idj2 at bestbuy and it was simple to manage. the question is if i could only get one which one would it be? the NS7 or iDJ2. and if i can connect my ipod to the NS7 to do what you can with the iDJ2. Thanks

The fact that Numark and Serato took years into research previous to its use gives us the confidence to use it on any amount. Proof would be the use at this years DMC.
I myself use it in various enviroments such as clubs, public events, parties etc… including studio recording. As far as forums and other users there are several out there (some you will find I am a member of myself)
(PM me I will give u links)
In fleeting I like my NS7 and would definately recommend it to anyone.

The NS7 (In my opinon) has not only raised the bar but has remapped the digital word a total new amount by first catering to any amount DJ offering the familiar controls to the CD generations as well as Vinyl and even Mp3 Computer controlled DJ genrations Not only making it not only a qualified work of art but also an elemental tool for todays modern DJ.

Hey I’m deciding if i want to go into the DJing industry and did a small research on setups, so one of my options right now is the numark NS7 which I’ve heard a LOT of excellent material about it and I was wondering if it was a excellent fit for a first time setup cuz even though its expensive it may give me a excellent bang for my buck in the long run. So ya give me your opinion on it plz and if u’ve got any tips for noobs or helpful sites plz be sure to mention em! :D

Numarks Virtual Vinyl is simular to Serato Scratch Live in the fact that it uses a hardware Interface/Decoder and Time coded records. in fleeting the feature of the Analog to Digital system is very excellent and compliments well with Virtual DJ users who want a better feel and more control over their mixes or performances.

  14. PWNstar14 says:

DJ Esco ,what r ur thoughts on virtual vinyl?

  15. CVAOMS says:

  19. djesco075 says:

  20. lildukeman says:

I’m new to the NS7. Can I record my scratching and place it on a mixtape?

  21. djesco075 says:

The Hercules RMX is fantastic. Especially with VDJ 6. I like it beacuse I can hop on a plane and do my remixes in a qualified manner (and record it).
If you are a serious Club DJ or pro, semi or other (even a n00b) and demand the qualified look and feel of vinyl I would say “break your piggy bank and get an NS7″. Check it out first hand your local Guitar Center should have one. This way you see first hand if this is what you want to get in to.

  22. IMKENSHAW says:

esco im a complete noob but im about as passionate as they come…ive been using traktor pro and am ready for my first controller and i was deadset on the hercules rmx but im pretty sure in the near future im going to need to step it up to a touch like this..should i learn on the rmx and go from there or save up a small longer and get the ns7?

  23. FOXENFNT says:
